At KS4 our students’ make excellent progress, above that of other schools nationally. Performance in English and maths are above national trends. The school has made excellent progress in Ebacc subjects as well as our other option subjects. In addition, the school has made significant improvements for vulnerable groups. Our average P8 score over the last 3 years is +0.39, 9-5 63%. KS5 outcomes have been consistently strong with our Alps three-year T-score being 3 for both A Level and Vocational. The size of The Nobel School Sixth Form has increased year on year, with students achieving fantastic results and progressing into further education. The Nobel School is a very exciting and vibrant school with 1490 students on roll, covering the full age and ability range, the majority of whom continue their education into our flourishing sixth form.Two positions have become available for a cook/catering assistant at The Nobel School Catering department to assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in the preparation and production of breakfast/lunch and hospitality services during the school week. This will involve the clean and safe production and preparation of fresh ingredients working with accuracy to the specifications set out by the head chef. Attention to detail and a flair for presentation are essential.
- To serve on counters at break and lunch time with speed and accuracy.
- To deliver buffet food and special events food professionally and to a high standard.
- To pay close attention to the delivery / storage and segregation of all produce.
- To always work as part of a team with a view to customer satisfaction and food safety.
- On the odd occasion there may be a requirement to work overtime on special events in the evenings and at weekends.

We are looking for an adventurous and engaging mathematician, who brings mathematics to life and can work well with the Director of Faculty and the rest of the team to improve an already impressive standard of results. The post would suit a teacher of any degree of experience who can demonstrate that they have the ability to enthuse students and teach high quality lessons. We have developed our Key Stage 3 Schemes of Learning so that they are prepared fully for the new Key Stage 3 curriculum. The Schemes of Learning follow the Mathematics Mastery approach and we are proud to be able to offer students learning in mixed ability sets throughout KS3 helping them to access all aspects of the curriculum.Our school continues to make progress and close gaps. Our Attainment 8 score and Ebacc Average Point Score, over the past three years has been in line with the national average for schools. In addition, the school has made significant improvements for vulnerable groups; Nobel CLA students’ progress score was better than the 2018 and 2019 national CLA figure. The progress of disadvantaged students is showing a continuing three-year trend of improvement. KS5 outcomes have been consistently strong over the last six years with four years having a Value Added score that has been significantly positive compared to national. The size of The Nobel School Sixth Form has increased year on year and the school supports students to attain relevant qualifications so that they progress to the next stage of their education and into courses that lead to higher level qualifications and jobs that meet local and national needs.
