Year Seven Transition Booklet 2021

Welcome and Assemblies

9.00 am

Welcome from Ms Harnetty. Assistant Headteacher in charge of Transition.

Good Morning Year 7,

Welcome to your Virtual Transition Day. Although we cannot be face to face today, our Transition Team have worked hard to put together a fun and informative day for our new Nobelians!  This is our suggested schedule for the day, but don’t worry if you need to complete this over a few days. We hope you enjoy it!

Your day is split into four parts:

  1. At the start of the day are assemblies from your Head of Year and our Head of Character.
  2. The second part of your day is Taster Lessons. Complete these to the absolute best of your ability and don’t worry if there is something you cannot complete today.
  3. The third part of your day involves getting to know Nobel, walking the site virtually and discovering a little more about the history of our famous Oak Tree.
  4. Finally, you will spend some time telling staff at Nobel about you. This is the information that we as staff love receiving!

Throughout the day you will need to have your Transition booklet and a pen. Don’t worry if you can’t find your paper copy, an electronic copy can be found at the top of this page.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or worries, otherwise enjoy your first day as Nobelians and I look forward to meeting you in September.

9.15 am

We start the day with two assemblies; an assembly on all things Nobel from your Head of Year 7, Ms Jones and an assembly on the Nobelian character from our Assistant Headteacher Mr Brown.
