The Scholars’ Club is a fantastic opportunity we offer to 24 of our higher attaining Students during their studies in year 12. It is offered by an external company called ‘The Brilliant Club,’ who help the students to develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence to secure a place at a competitive university. It helps students to improve their critical thinking, written communication, and university self-efficacy.
The course is broken down into 7 tutorial sessions, run by specialist PhD tutors who share their subject knowledge and passion for learning. The course builds up to the completion of a final assignment which is marked and moderated using university grades. Finally, the students can attend a graduation event at a partner university to speak with current undergraduates and learn about university life.
